is this double or high density?

Amiga-wise it's definitely double, whether or not it contains a (PC) HD floppy inside is another story. The adapter board inside might also expect an 100% Amiga compliant floppy (should the existing unit ever need to be replaced).

I have two examples of floppies pulled from identically looking cases:

1. TEAC FD-235F 114-U (still dysfunctional :( )
2. CITIZEN OSDC-29C (working again :) )

both are old 1 MB (DD) units and both were jumpered as Amiga-compliant drives.

Yes this is a standard DD external Floppy Drive for Amiga's :thumbsup:

Its unbranded externally, i.e no model no. to give you.

Tested read/write to some DD floppy Disks.
