2x 1GB DDR and AGP GFX

Hello Chaps...(and ladies of course)

I'm looking for 2x1GB DDR1 Memory @400MHz

and

A NVIDIA AGP GFX Card, anything better than a 5200FX considered.

Last update my ole Media Centre is going to get before it gets retired (next time :lol:)

My 5200FX is currently struggling with the old VISTA Beta Drivers :lol:

edit: yep, best agp card I have is the 4200

There are some NForce drivers around for Windows 7, that have legacy support for older cards; I got an old GeForce 2 MX 400 running under Windows 7 with them.

Hi TC, is that PC3200 Ram you're after?

I'll have a check and see what I have here, I think all the DDR400 went with the socket 939 board I sold here...

My friend, I always get confused by DDR*** & the PC**** equivelents :lol:
The System clock is running at 800MHz so I know for sure it's DDR400 that I need.

I have 1x 512mb PC3200 which is DDR400 Ram, its your FOC if its any use to you :thumbsup:

Its been in a Bag-O-Ram for a long time so untested mate.

I remember now I had 2x 1gb sticks but I sold them on eBay a few months back :Doh:

Cheers for the offer mate, My mediaCentre is an old Shuttle Cube type with 2 DIMM sockets on the Mobo, both currently occupied by 2 512MB DIMMS :lol:

If I can find some replacement 1GB Sticks I'll be recycling the old ones on here straight away..

NVidia AGP you say?

I've definitely got a 6600GT lying around the place somewhere. I think there might also be a 6800GT.

Not sure if the 7xxx series cards are AGP, I think they're all PCIex. I'll check though.

*edit* -- Also, I think I've got some 1GB DIMMs, but they're PC2700/333MHz ones, not PC3200/400MHz. If nobody can turf you up 1GB/400MHz, give me a prod and I'll have a look for them. :)
