Hi yet again,
here is a NES with controller, new psu, carry case and some games.
the case has some marks on it and the catches are broken.
the NES power light flashes off and on but doesn't boot, it does flash up a white screen then resets itself (guessing a simple cap change, but i don't have the time to fix it right now)
£10 + carriage anyone?
Not interested in it myself old chap, but the flashing light and white screen generally indicates that cartridges are not being read because of dirty contacts.
Mine was exactly the same and taking it apart is actually very straightforward and quite simple. It then allows you to clean the contacts (which slide out quite easily) with minimum bother.
A bit of a scrub up with and eraser, and maybe some alcohol should see you right.

Just to help out here 9 out of ten times it's just the 72 pin cart connecter

How much with shipping? I have a spare nes here with no leads, maybe this will work ok, now can I get an Everdrive for the NES ???

also a cleaned the connector a jiggled the pins, now the power light is constant as is the screen, but still no games load (apparently if you are willing to spend the time tweaking it will work, i just don't have the time)
I don't think there is a NES Everdrive but there is a SNES Everdrive. For the NES, I would suggest the NES PowerPak. :)Quote:
