Maybe the thought of rain will make people sell electronics cheaper?
Wish me luck!
I doubt they would sell it cheaper! LOL! I havent been this morning, but I think next week the mrs actually wants me to assist in selling at one
PS3 60GB faulty ...
3 xboxes and a whole host of baby stuff "again" i also saw 2-3 megadrives and a snes but by then i had prety much spent my limit.
A single N64 cart (Carmeggedon64) and a 128 games in one TV Games system.
Not very exciting, but it does have a load of my favorites on there, and works OK. That and it was only 50p. Meh.
Car boots around here tend to be utterly rubbish, anything remotely interesting looks like it's been left in a carrier bag at the bottom of the garden for almost all it's lifetime.
Nothing ... it was p**ing it down with rain so ripped out the bathroom and began to remodel it :D
Its prety much the same here, most of the stuff i buy need stripping down to main components cleaning properly then reassembeling.
so far today since i been back i have only striped and cleaned 1 xbox also replaced the heatsinks and thermal paste. had to refurbish the dvd drive (new tray belt) and lubricate the rails.
Takes a whole load of time to get that pink gloopy gunk for thermal paste they used on the gpu's off but these things are pretty old. but they were built really well. so a bit of tlc like this before i modify them is well advized.
it was a clear xbox though so it takes a while to clean its inner grounding plates or it looks bad thru the case.
Having a bit of a break right now so just browsing the forum for a while :)
My wife picked up a biscuit jar.............
