A3000: How to disable on-board SCSI?
Hi all,
I know I haven't posted for a bit, but I do read the threads and lurk a bit on here still :ninja:
Anyway, I have what might seem like an odd question to you: can I disable the on-board SCSI controller on the A3000D.
My last remaining SCSI drive has died :( but I do have a Buddha IDE card so have stuck an IDE drive in it. It works well, but I have a delay upon startup whilst the machine checks what drives are on the SCSI interface. This gives about a 30sec-1min delay each time I restart (mostly upon cold reboot, but sometimes on warm reboot)
I've checked all the documented jumpers but still unable to find anything that does what I want.
Thanks in advance guys (and gals)
Cheers
