I've been facing some weird behavior with the Zorro cards of my A4000. One or more cards won't be detected in boot. I've found out that if I turn the case vertical, all cards are detected but if the case is horizontal as it's meant to be, the card(s) will gradually fail to detect.
Is it just a case of bad contact due to gravity making the cards slightly tilt within the slot? I haven't cleaned the contacts with IPA yet. I've tried to re-seat the cards, though but that has been only temporal.
I had issues with the Scan Doubler on my PicassoIV and also some Zorro Cards not showing up.
Cleaning with IPA and reseating the cards helped for a short time but the issues returned, in the end I replaced the daughter board and its been 100% fine since :)

I'll give the IPA a try and if that won't help, I'll start looking for a new daughterboard.
You can try to get a bit more pressure on the motherboard and Zorro contacts if you carefully force each contact pin (notice they are ~200 on each slot!) inwards.
Also you'll have to clean it.

Where should I try to bend the contact?
From the back of the pins (between they and the plastic holder) using a small needle or a very small flat screwdriver.
Tried with another daughterboard and it is the contact between the motherboard and the daughterboard that's causing the issues. It seems that the mid bracket is twisting the daughterboard slightly and that causes the two uppermost Zorro buses to go dark. If I loosen the bracket, all cards will work.
Should I still try to bend the contacts on the motherboard bus connector or is there any tolerance in the motherboard fastening points that I could try to move the whole mobo to the direction where the daughterboard is twisted?
That would suggest to me your case is twisted.
I think the case needs to be straightened out.
