A603 2MB Chip RAM for A600 + IndivisionECS Extender

Hi peepz, I'm selling my spare A603 2MB Chip RAM upgrade for your beloved A600. It's almost brand new as it has about 1-2 hours total usage and it comes ofc with the RTC battery as well.

Along with the A603 adapter, i'm also giving the excellent adapter from kipper2k (that I recently bought -but no longer need- since I acquired an A604).
For whoever doesn't know what it does... it's a small adapter that simply moves the socket of IndivisionECS a bit backwards, so a floppy drive can be installed as well :thumbsup:

No problem and gz on your purchase. Be sure to put some fblit/ftext along with some other patches in the startup files or you'll end with a little Chip RAM and lotsa Fast :D
1MB of Chip gets easily spent :)

Just a question
(Maybe) i wil have an amiga 600 with 1mb ram expansion, i will have to remove that if i buy your A603, gain so 3mb of ram, or i can install in parallel gain 4mb ram?

I haven't understood you correctly but EVERY A600 expansion card can add only 1MB of Chip RAM giving the A600 the MAX memory of 2MB Chip RAM.

Anything more than 2MB Chip RAM can only be achieved with the following:
- PCMCIA Flash card (2MB or 4MB Fast RAM)
- A608 RAM Adapter (4MB or 8MB Fast RAM)
- Accelerator board (Mtec/Apollo/ACA with 4MB till 64MB Fast RAM)

No!
A601, A602, A603, A604 and generally every expansion has 1MB of Chip RAM and with the 1MB that every A600 has... brings the memory to 2MB Chip in total.

If you already have an 1MB expansion... you don't need the A603 (unless you want in the future to put an Indivision ECS SD/FF.

No!
