I cut a little extra out of the Addonics bracket to work with the 2nd CF slot.

@SkydivinGirl: thanks a lot for this thread... I directly ordered a couple of IDE/CF adapter on their site for my 4k and 1200 tower : they do deliver worldwide, and accept Paypal... :D

I'm glad you found use in this thread. I use it in my A4000D for transferring files. I don't have USB in my A4000D so this is a good, inexpensive device. You can also use it to easily swap CF cards used as hard drives.

In my case -Amiga 2000- I use it in conjuction with a Yamaha V769970 Scsi to Ide converter, as a main HDD. Bye bye scsi hard disks.:p
Also very practical to change files with Pee Cee......asap.
In my case I didn't want to have the CF inside the A4000 (or the tower) and on a PCI bracket at the back it's not very convenient either...
I use it at the front of the tower, so I can swap system between 2 boots. I have 2 CF cards : 1 with OS3.9, the other with OS4... :cool:
