I'm after a Squirrel scsi cd rom cable, is this the same as the old PC printer lead? i.e PC parallel port to printer
i.e DB25 to centronics 50 pin connector?
the cd rom is a 50 pin centronics but the hd8 has a 25pin connector
I'm trying to connect the cd-rom to a GVP HD8+ hard drive .

^^+1 There ain't no such thing as a Squirrel cable, it's a whole (PCMCIA) interface, with built-in cable. Are you sure you need one?

my mistake it is a C50/CN50 Centronics 50 pin Male socket end on the cable.
the cd-rom is a female end

the gvp HD uses a 25 pin female connector for scsi
the sqiurrel cd rom uses a 50 pin Centronics, it may well of had a pcmcia at some point but it doesn't now.
my question is , is there a cable to suit?

Is it an GVP HD8 (for A500) or a GVP HC8 (Zorro card) ?
