Just got myself an A4000T, but the RTC coin battery is dead. The current battery is marked BR2335. I've seen that amigakit.com has ones marked CR2032 (which I also can get from a local shop). Can I safely use this?

Yes, you can use a CR2032 battery on an Amiga 4000T without problems, mine has one of this and works perftly.

'C'-type and 'B'-type coin batteries are both Lithium with the same voltage at 3V. The only difference, if I recall correctly, has to do with the electrode.
So, you can easily use a CR2032 coin battery without any problems. I use CR2032 in my A4000D too, which is the most common type.
Yeah, of course you need to desolder the old battery and sold a battery holder to put the new CR2032.

Thanks for the answers guys. Too bad my soldering skills are nonexistant. And removing the motherboard in the A4000T seems to be a pain too. Oh well. I guess I'll have to live without correct RTC for a while.
Use the same battery (BR2335) as before. No need to change coin holders.
@Phantom
The Amiga 4000T doesn´t have battery holder, the battery is soldered directly in the motherboard, you must desolderet it to put another one.
