Apollo 4060 Amiga 4000 Acclelerator!

Hi!

I'm selling my Apollo 4060 which includes latest mask 060 running at 50mhz and onboard SCSI :cool:

It should be possible to overclock to 80mhz+ if you do this small mod:

Since the x-tal is socketed its easy to switch.

I will supply 64mb Ram with the Apollo (2x 32mb chips) and also the fitting kit if you want to install in an A3000. It also comes with the original plastic CPU stands and Manual :thumbsup:

I'm looking for £350 + P&P - I'm not interested in selling without Ram/CPU, must go as one lot.

*Price is not negotiable, if no sale I will keep it. Please do not declare interest if you cannot afford to buy it within 48hrs.

*Please be advised I cannot gaurantee your success overclocking and I have not tested in an A3000

Is downloading special library files from somewhere necessary for using this accelerator?

Yes you need the Apollo 060 lib's, you can get them here:

Gawd Steve get that puppy clocked to 80mhz, 5 mins of soldering and you have a blistering piece of hardware you'd never want to let go.

Wish i could afford this for my upcoming project ;)

As well as a new crystal and changing jumpers Roy Bates suggested the technique to get stable at 100MHz is to replace the power regulator board with 3.3v from the ATX power supply.

Ratte showed the mod over at a1K a few months ago that might be easier but probably not as good?

Indeed, great possibilities with this card - I don't really want to sell but I already have CSMKII and CSPPC so one A4000 Turbo Board too many!

Card is reserved for rubenscarrilho for 2 days as requested pending payment.

P2G have quoted £50+ insurance for Fedex express shipping - We need to agree insurance/declared value. With the shipping agent the insurance value figure auto populates for declared value so if rubenscarrilho takes at lower value it will be at his risk for loss/damage beyond insured value.

Fedex is fully tracked and insured to the declared value on the Customs forms.
