I use my retro consoles on an old Hitachi C2874TN CRT telle. When I was trying out my kit in RGB last night I noticed that the screen goes off centre and is slightly to the left meaning part of the screen is cut off.
Is this normal?

have a look at overscan in prefs mate 2 adjust it
I don't think it has an overscan option being such an old tv. I've been trying to find a service menu code for it and had no luck. I might have to open it up to see if there are any ajustments inside.
Does your TV have buttons for L-R alignment?
I think JohnIM meant overscan prefs on your amiga..
If it's being thrown off to the left, it usually means that the scart socket on your TV isn't in fact a fully fledged RGB Scart socket. Try using the other scart input (If it has another) to see if it makes a difference.
Sony CRT's for e.g., only used to make the 1st scart RGB enabled. (Changed to more in later years, but just an example)
Or your Scart lead isn't very good :(
This is pretty normal. Especially with the Sega Dreamcast in 4:3 mode
yes mate thanks should of explained properlyQuote:
