I just got hold of an A1200, but when I try connecting a scart lead up, the colours are a bit wrong:

The scart lead appears to be wired correctly (rgb), as the colours on the tick are the correct way round. It is just everything is VERY green!
I have tried using composite out, but my TV doesn't pick up any signal from there. I will try the RF, but I am unsure this TV has an analogue tuner.
Help and advice please, especially where I should start to look. :D

do you have another Amiga or TV to try the SCART lead with?
there might be a break in the cable if you have no other miggy use a multimeter to check for continuity
No other amiga I'm afraid. But this TV works fine with all other RGB outputs I have thrown at it. I'll try the main TV when its not in use.
But, checking inside the Amiga side of the lead, there were things like composite out joined to video ground, and for some reason, common of the audio. I have cleared these "globs" up, but am still getting green.

Ok, I got fed up with the cable and threw it in the bin. There were so many errors in it, and bare cables with "shorting" potential.
That's one eBay seller on my bad list :mad:
Ordered a new one from a "more expensive but had better dealings" eBay seller. Will see tomorrow. I just hope the lead hasn't damaged anything inside the miggy. :mad:
I dont suspect the cable my friend, while its obviously of poor quality, I suspect this could be a capacitor issue.
I will hit the spec's later but I am sure its one of the feed caps to the DAC
