I see that you describe your cable as 23pin to vga? Do you mean vga as in 15pins? I need a cable with nine pins to 1084s monitor.

You're absolutely right! How silly of me... sorry about the mix up.

It's DB23 to 9, well, 6 pins actually being used. It came with a 1084 monitor so you're safe there. Tested and proofed working fine.

My 1084s has a male db9 (random pic from the net)

I've got 4 of 'em and all are female as are the Philips ones I've around.

Imagine sticking to one standard. Noo, we need round din, male db9 and female db9 in the same range of monitors. Not to mention almost all target computers (beside the c128) have db23.
