I am selling my Eyetech Internal A1200/A4000 Scandoubler. It's now surplus to requirements so selling at the same price I brought it at originally here
It is in perfect working order.

Is there a vertical band artefact on LCD screen with this scandoubler? Which chip does it plug on? How is the socket?
Do the heatsinks conflict with the first Zorro board in the A4000?
This was checked on 2 monitors, both LCD. On the 17" Viewsonic, banding was barely noticeable. It was more noticeable on the no-name brand 19" screen but I could increase the scan frequency using the monitor's internal settings to minimize it.Quote:

There is no banding on CRT monitors AFAIK
It clips onto the Lisa chip and the connecting socket is in excellent condition.
The heatsinks were added by the previous owner. They can be removed and it will function just the same as it would with them in place. This was used in an A1200 so I cannot answer the Zorro board question I'm afraid

Thanks for the answers. I'm passing on that one. I have just figured out that i already have this very scandoubler! It is stored in a box as i don't use it anymore, and used to be in my A1200 ATEO tower in the early 2000's. I didn't know that it was working on the A4000. I will give it a try again to replace my unreliable Indivision 4000 :)
