Internal 9MB RAM Card for Amiga 1200
IMPORTANT UPDATE!*
First listing here, hope everything is :thumbsup:
I have for sale 2 "AlfaRAM1200". They are NewOldStock, so they are
practically as good as new.
Only a few scratches on the box, and one of them has a tiny leak on the battery.
These cards only come with 1 MB RAM on-board but has the option of adding 4 MB or 8 MB more, giving your A1200 a full 11 MB RAM.
Possible configurations are: 1-4-5-8-9 MB.
You will need to purchase these chips elsewhere,
as I don't have anyone left.
There is also the option to ad a FPU (PLCC) with up to 50MHZ.
Card is simply inserted via. the expansion slot.
I have tested both of them and they worked 100%.
*I decided not to take any chances with the leaking battery, so I removed it. I wouldn't want to risk damaging the board due to acid,
and it wouldn't be fair to it's buyer either.
The reason I didn't remove it from beginning, was the freakin' glue(?!),
but with a lot of patience, and my trusted tools, I managed to remove the bat. without any damage to the board.
Goes without saying that I've tested it again after the operation; still works like a charm.
