32MB ram for accelerator

Hi, I'm looking for 32mb ram for my Apollo 1240 accelerator. Must be single sided as double won't fit.

Ermmm...double sided simms do fit in the Apollo 1240/60's :)

You sure? Maybe in towered systems ?

I'm sure, i've had 4 of them.

It's trial and error - I have an Apollo 1240 and a 1260 and I have never found a suitable double sided SIM that would fit either.

Same.. I have 2 double sided simms, which as far as i know are 32mb each. For one, they wont clip in the slot, but i tried booting while holding them in place and the Amiga only reads 6MB.

Works fine with my single sided 16MB simm.

Apollos are extremely fussy when it comes to ram.

For instance i sent Justin a pair of 32mb sticks that were tested working fine in my Apollo and they refused to work in his.

I then sent him another 4 (2 pairs) 32mb simms that worked in my Apollo and not one pair worked...but a mismatched pair did...trial and error with Apollo ram.
