A2000 color composite video card

For sale are NOS A2000 Color Composite video adapters. Tested, working - gives a nice and crisp picture both in color and B&W composite PAL and also color S-video.

15/04/2013: Today I've tested the card in an A4000 and both the composite and B&W output works fine. But please note that the card has a different slot dimensions, meaning the slot cover is somewhat shifted and not covering the slot fully. This is however cosmetic.

Looking for including shipping to Europe and PayPal fees.

Now thats a nice piece of history there my friend, for those out there heres some more information.

The above model is the A2031 PAL Composite, RF and Stereo encoder, based around the same chip as the A520 - however this is internal and provides, both colour as well as black & white composite. The A2031 also provides RF out with combined Stereo sound.

Argaubly this would also work in the A4000 video slot, giving it internal Color Composite and RF out as well.

I had one of these in my first A2000, 20 years ago, when I couldn't afford a decent monitor and had to use a tv. Good card and in my opinion better picture as the external A520.

Not to shine my ware too much but I can certainly attest this, happened to test an A500 with the A520 and this card the same evening and risk to say the composite out on this is as good as any RGB signal, almost no color bleeding or noise (as opposed to the A520)

The most awesome part of this card is it does have a S-VHS output! Forget about the composite out and make a S-VHS connector for crisp image with no colour bleeding.

If those cards would be for sale a the end of January, reserve one for me!

Just tested a few more cards today and I confirm that there IS a working S-VIDEO output on these cards. You need to have proper cable from the DIN connector to S-VIDEO though.

Sorry to butt in, but to avoid possible confusion it would be s-video, not s-vhs, which is an enhanced vhs tape format. :)

Indeed, the solution is on the BBOAH. What can be done with this output? It must be hard to find a suitable cable nowadays.

EDIT: Oh, now I saw it. It's not the standard RF we know.

Either way, you'll need a television for that, probably oldish?

It's the first time I see such a DIN socket too, but constructing a self-made plug isn't that hard, you already dug out the connector schematics after all :thumbsup:

All my cards are tested now, stock updated.

There is one card different than the others, the video chips are socketed (possible upgrades) and composite connectors are red - also comes in a nicer box, otherwise it's the same model.
