Hi all, I have been trying to get sensible soccer to run smoothly on my a1200 without much luck. I have it installed via WHDload and I do have a Viper 1230 8mb accellerator (with no FPU).
Basically it slows down quite badly whilst playing and I have no idea why... surely this game should run blisteringly fast?
Any ideas what I can do? I have tried a few different versions but they all play the same...
Try adding the the tooltype 'CACHE'
This solved slowdown issues with my Typhoon 1230 :)
You can also try 'NOVBRMOVE' but only if you get no success from 'CACHE'

I have no idea what you mean by tooltype! (noob alert!) :lol:
select the icon and then go to information in the menu
Find the Icon for the SWOS and right click>tools>InfomationQuote:

Is it worth adding an FPU? Will this one work?
I just dont know if it will make any noticeable difference to the system?
not unless you use 3d rendering packages, or software designed to use an FPU (of which there isn't much)
