Hi mate :)
You can post some pics of your board showing the SN? Maybe I can help you, I have two different versions of the floppy drivers.

Hi merlinkv i added 2 pics, sorry for the bad qualitiy..SN is 6200437 ..hm the eprom is 5.0 C ..is there a newer than this ? are both drivers working?
if u have the Disks as DMS it would be great THANX
Hi mate,
I think the problem is the EPROM v5.0.C, my boards have v6.10.
These are my disks in DMS format (Maybe equal contents? ) I renamed as ....MKV_1 & .....MKV_2.
Attachment 22373 Attachment 22374
Best wishes
I also had v5.0C boot ROM.
@Merlinkv. Was your bootrom code preinstalled or is it some custom code you have added?
Thanks,
Ed.
Finally I dismounted my systems (a bit difficult, my little room is like a computer museum) to check more accurate.
In one board the sticker shows 5.0c but in the other shows 6.2
Sorry for the mistake I posted before: "I think the problem is the EPROM v5.0.C, my boards have v6.10".
In anyway both boards shows scsi.device 60.310 (maybe the EPROM stickers are wrong? )
I have the possibility to reprogram the EPROMs but, really, I don't needed it. Both boards are working fine under systems of similar configuration.... CSPPC, IDE & UW-SCSI devices, Mediator 4000, ...... :)
Also the Disk Drivers (I uploaded before) appears to be the same.
Ok, thank you my friend. :)
thank you also from me i will try to get this working with your disks
Hi again,
Just to bring some info.
Decided to test possible differences between 5.0C and 6.2 ....
I reprogrammed the EEPROM of my 5.0C board with the code I get from the 6.2
Both boards are working now as 6.2 version like a charm. But, as I said before, I cannot appreciate any difference.
Best wishes
Just had a reply from Elbox re: cold booting with hard drives and PFS direct SCSI.
Ed.D:

Elbox:
It is possible only if you have a very old - slow hard drive.
In this case it is enough to push a digits from 1 - 9 during computer start. Higher digit means longer time for detecting connected hard drives.
@Ed.D
Hi mate,
As I know, PFS is one of the best FileSystems (if not the best), but why not SFS ?..... I have all my drives with SFS and I don't have problems.
