I`ve got a couple of P3 systems like this and they run win98se quite nice, XP needs a bit more memory but can still be a nice machine, theres lots of uses for this kind of kit from retro gamin to NAS to firewalls to just surfin the WEB


5 pci slots, 1 ISA slot, 1 AGP slot and is the other called CNR or something for modems
certainly got a lot of expansion posabilitys

Yes, it's a nice system. I have one running with a 1,4 GHz Tualatin P3, a Rage128 Maxx (with 2 Rage 128 GPUs on it) and 1,5 GB RAM. :D

Per clock P3 is faster then P4. I have a 1.4 P3 for aros ... P3 architecture was used for later core duo.

Yes, the P4 technology was quite a deadlock! The latest P3 Tualatin with 512k second level cache on chip are damned fast :D
