PC cards'n'boards'n'stuff #2

After some fits and starts, here's some PC bits I have for sale. My interest in PCs is kinda dying right now, so I'm selling some bits I probably won't use again, then putting the rest away for a while.

All items either tested working and stored since, or currently in a working machine. I will retest before dispatch to double-check, if they haven't been tested lately.

ISA sound cards

Gravis Ultrasound PnP 1.0 £withdrawn as now packed away
Sound Blaster AWE32 CT2760 £decided to keep
PAS16 - think it's a Pro Audio Studio £decided to keep

PCI Sound cards

Sound Blaster es1371 £withdrawn as now packed away
Sound Blaster CT4750 £withdrawn as now packed away

PCI Graphics cards

ATI Mach64 £withdrawn as now packed away
S3 Virge/DX £withdrawn as now packed away

S3 Trio 3D/2X [got 2] £withdrawn as now packed away

Matrox G200 [not sure of exact model, G2+ maybe, got a few] £withdrawn as now packed away

PCI Express graphics cards

X300 SE 128mb £withdrawn as now packed away

6600gt 128mb [gigabyte sli-on-one-card model, in special boards it's sli but in most board only 1 gpu with 128mb is found]. May need baking - artefacting etc - or nice paperweight £withdrawn as now packed away

Gigabyte GA5AX rev 5.2 nice super socket 7 board £sold to chinners

K6/2 400 £withdrawn as now packed away
K6/2 500 £withdrawn as now packed away
K6/2 550 £withdrawn as now packed away

K6/3 400 £withdrawn as now packed away
K6/3 450 £withdrawn as now packed away

Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2H - AM2 maybe AM2+ and I think can take AM3 cpus - two DDR2 slots - micro-ATX, with backplate and manual if I can find it, bought this new a year or two ago, been running with a Phenom X4 and HD4850, still have the box £withdrawn as now packed away

Cooling etc

Swiftech MCX6400-V Socket 939 heatsink, comes with some screws and fittings, unusual paperweight £withdrawn as now packed away

:lol: whoops, you got me, cut n paste failure there, will edit, thanks :thumbsup:.

With the PAS16, I meant I think mine is the Studio model, slightly different from the Spectrum, based on the code printed on it. Can't remember what that is offhand, PAR I think. See ye olde vogons post here, some way down:

Do you mind if I declare interest on the Gigabyte GA5AX nice super socket 7 board £15, pending the resurrection of another mobo and research into this one? 'Twill only held be till tomorrow evening.

How many ISA ports does the Gigabyte mobo have? It appears there are a few revisions of this, some with 2, others with 3.

I've got 3 ga5ax's, all of them have 1 AGP + 5 PCI + 2 ISA slots. I think they are all 5.2 but one of them might be 4.1; one of them has all black ports I think [rather than the purple parallel port and so on] but it's the same revision as the others.

The one I've been using the last few years seems to make a funny whining noise [it could be the PSU or the cpu fan I guess] so I'll dig the others out if you decide you want one.

Argh, i'd love that Gravis but a few setbacks have gotten in the way this month.

Only the first iteration (rev 3) had 3 ISA slots, revs 4.1 and 5.2 were 1/5/2 (AGP/PCI/ISA).
Rev 4.1 had a minor revision of its own, 4.1A. Might have fixed something with the external tagram, can't really remember now. No big deal as the board's L2 cache would best be disabled when used with a K6-III anyway.

Rev 5.2 had no minor revisions and (despite the same 1/5/2 slot layout) was a completely different beast to the 4.1, sporting ATA66 and infrared header support.

I still have a 4.1A + K6-III 400 from around 2000 and even though it was my main system for less than a year, it's been my second favourite one :D

Now offcially interested in the ga5ax - the later the revision the better for me.
