I'm looking for a PPC card for my 1200 tower with Mediator.
Not worried about SCSI or GFX capability.
Would ideally like something that takes standard simms
Have a Blizzard 1230, 50mhz with 68882 and 64mb I'd be happy to part exchange if interested.

I have to agree with Kin, i purchased OS4.0 from him after i had purchased a PPC card. I installed the software and booted it, played with it for about half an hour then reformatted back to 3.1
The PPC and OS4.0 were sold to portarinos after just a week of me owning them lol
Unless there is a direct need for the PPC i would consider kin's 060.

Hmmm, I'd like to have a fast enough system to be able to browse for and download amiga related stuff directly from the miggy. If an 060 is perfectly adequate for that and I could get one for a good price then I'd be tempted. If there's not a huge difference in price between a PPC card and 060 then I'd rather pay a bit extra and have the option of going OS4+ later.
@Kin - If you're thinking of selling let me know via PM, maybe I can be convinced ;-)

At <4.0 there are no PPC browsers. IBrowse is good under >3.1, and it's excellent with an 060 and RTG.
However, the a1200 is the only realistic OS4 classic amiga as it can have 256MB of RAM on the accellerator.
But if it's <4.0 you're going to use, go for the 060.

Card arrived this morning. Managed to open this one up the right way up Kin ;-)
Feedback left. Haven't tried the card out yet but have no concerns on that front, certainly couldn't have got damaged in transit!
