Now using DBLPAL 640x512x50hz no flicker, and it really is no flicker! from a stock 1200.

Thanks Wolfy. I was guessing it had to be a bit of a trick monitor. VGA does not sync low enough, DblPal being 27.5Hz.

I'm nowhere tbh Wolfy. You just endorsed what I already thought I knew/remembered, though I'm sure my old & now dead NEC 3FG Multisync showed me 27.5Hz on DblPal. It's been a while now, so the exact figues may have gotten a bit hazy over the years. :unsure:
