(or sell) My Refurb'd A4000T for other stuff :)

Hi All!

Having failed to sell this great machine I'm open to trades, it's externally refurb'd as seen here:

The paint job was only on the metals and was done by a Car painter to a very high standard.

I'm happy to trade as a whole unit or in parts, i.e seperately, chassis, mobo, AV/SCSI Boards/Door/etc. There is no CPU or Zorro cards included.

Blizzard PPC (GREX compatible)
CD32 expansion
A1200 Turbo/Ram boards
FastATA/PowerFlyer
Mediator Di
A500 CPU upgrade
A4000 Zorro Cards (Sound/Network/RTG)

High end Gaming PC

I'll also sell it for £550 + P&P

It's almost a complete A4000T as seen in the thread link in the first post, however there is no CPU or Zorro cards included, but everything else is there :)

It has 3.1 Roms and Buster 11 and of course everything is working :thumbsup:

The only things to mention are that the door does not 'click' closed, it's a very simple catch so should be able to fix it.

The sound is a little quiet, this could be normal for this revision or you might need to change the caps at some point, they are the original caps but everything seems clean :)

Hm, I have a SX-1 for the CD32 and a Blizzard 1230 Mk IV including SCSI Kit, but I think shipping the tower to Germany is a killer!

Shipping isn't too bad, it's the insurance that's the killer you're looking at about £25-£30 for shipping and £25-£30 for the insurance :thumbsdown:

It is a really hard decision for me, because your Tower looks really nice. But I have no parts for an A4000 (no CPU board, no graphics card, etc) and so I have to buy all this. At the moment, I have simply too less money...

But good luck with your swap or sale, it is a great tower!! :)

I don't have any spare 040 or even 030 to include :(

Else I would chuck it in for free.

I have a WarpEngine 040 @40mhz here I could include for an extra £200 or CSMkII 060 @ 66mhz I could include for £350 (both fully loaded with 128mb Ram) but I would not sell these seperate as I would be on the lookout for another! One of my other A4000's would be without a CPU :p
