Amiga A2000 Motherboard

Hi,

I`m on the hunt for a decent A2000 motherboard, ideally at least 6.4 and no history of battery leak :)

If anyone has a spare one and would consider selling please let me know!

Not 6.4, but I have a rev 6.2 ECS with 3.1 ROM. Any good?

Apparently i need a 6.4 for a mega chip i want to stick in.. I`ll have a look about and see if it would work in a 6.2 but also i`m tight on budget (since buying lots of goodies on amibay)...

Rev 6.4 Already carries the 8375 (2MB) AGNES but still only has 1MB RAM onboard which I believe can be easily hacked to 2MB by piggybacking the chips. You may have issues fitting the Megachip to this revision as I'm sure the upgrade daughterboard expects to see an 8372 AGNES pinout socket and AFAIR 8372 & 8375 are NOT pin compatible.

The MegaChip will quite happily fit into any Rev 6.0/1/2/3 Motherboard.

I totally agree with Harrison: the 6.4 version of the A2000 already have the Fatter Agnus (8375 2Mb), it's just a matter of do the 2Mb hack, easily found on the interwebz...

AFAIK Rev 6.4 (and some late 6.3) came with the 1MB 8375. Mine did, and it was the exact same pinout as those with the 8370/8372 Agnus. I used a megachip with it no prob.

Apollo 2030 @ 50mhz + 16MB ram
