I am curious, what is the "lcd fix" ? it could be used to improve rgb cables for other systems too...(?)

getting a pure csync? most probable, let's see what Oge found....

I'd imagine it's just getting csync down to the correct voltage levels. Most Lcds don't like the high voltage of the Amiga. Crts didn't mind as much. This was covered by Ian steadman quite some time ago and just involves the correct resistors and doesn't apply to other consoles

This is a bit sad. Still not received either package. I wonder what is going on. I have double checked my sent pm and I have given the correct address. I will wait for this second package a week longer before giving up.

edit: I have been informed just now that the package has been shipped today so I was maybe waiting for it a bit too eagerly :)

Cable arrived during amibay downtime. It is a very nice cable. It removed the most annoying ghost artifact of my previous rgb cable. It is very close to perfect with my tv and cd32/sx1. I don´t feel the need of getting indivision for my cd32 anymore.

I'm very glad that it solved your troubles, Mendel.

I've sweated hard to include these modifications, asking Amiga friends IRL to let me test several attempts using their LCDs.

I feel satisfied that my efforts were appreciated :)

My previous rgb cable. Take a close look at the area just to the right of the icons. There is this ghostly blurry stuff.

This new cable... the problem is gone. Also the overall picture is slightly sharper than before.


Note the images are jpg compressed so they are not 100% what I am seeing but my point should be clear if you take a look and compare. The difference is clear. It may not look much but trust me, when using the machine those image artifacts that follow icons and game characters and mouse pointer... they got really annoying at some point! Now gone! My tv still does some blurring of the pixels when it scales the image though. That is unavoidable with my crt.

Item received. AmigaKit cable doesn't work with my TV, but this one works great.
