Hi,
shipping to Australia should cost around 9-11 euro, but now I'm working in Dubai and my cpu are in Italy, and I'll come back home in late November, so for now we can do nothing.

From the picture I can tell this is genuine. Engraved lettering is what's used back in the day.

Suspect when the chip have ordinary white ink instead this engraved lettering.

I've several older ('92/'95) and genuine XC 040s and 060s (old/early masks) with ordinary white ink lettering. There is no reason to fake chips with such old masks and XC-status..

B.T.W. For Motorola 68K-series engraved lettering is far less common than ink lettering. Intel used to use engraving -and- ink lettering on 386s, 486s and Pentiums.

Yes, mate, that's true. But the 040 MC CPU is a different beast. Old XC parts used ordinary white ink.

Hmm, I also have a genuine/confirmed rev. 6 MC060/60 with white ink lettering..
