Hmm, the brunette is pretty hot, I would trade that for my A3000T right away :D

Beautiful Machines! Well done to both you :cool:
Well there is no chance I could follow that, but I did get some dinky copper heatsinks for my CV-PPC to match those Cosmos already put in the MkIII
Nice one, certainly for the Permedia 2 chip, she gets insanly hot :blink:
I'm thinking to cool her with this:

But as it's 40 mm, this might be a tight fit.
A 40x40 mm heatsink/fan won't fit the CVPPC without modification. And if you have the second connector on the CVPPC it will be almost impossible to fit. :unsure:
As you can see on my CVPPC I had to cut the heatsink to make it fit, the voltage regulator is in the way. And if there's a second connector it won't fit at all. A 30x30 or 25x25 combo would probably be better then...

A magic word of advice: Northbridge coolers from "old" Pentium4 (socket 478 ) active coolers.
You can locate they new in box in online stores. Just use a 30x30 or 27x27mm cooler and all will be fine.
That's the same fan I have on my 060. Certainly that would be difficult to fit with the other one already there, plus the CV's cable getting in the way too. I ran my A4k tonight for a few hours with the CV-PPC fitted and those heat sinks were working overtime. Even the ones on it's ram chips were warm. What I really need is an ultra low profile 25x25 fan or smaller. But were do you get them? Do they exist?
Maybe I should think about putting ducts in there to direct air onto the heat sinks? If I did that I could use a wider range of fans, but I would also have to drill holes in the chassis :unsure:
Mmmmmm laptops use really tiny fans dont they?
@Geraldine
Damn this looks a lot like my former CVisionPPC

It does at that, but at least you dont have that damned aux connector along the top. Nice wee fan too! :cool:
Almost completed my collection of consoles, just need to find my saturn! Got a gamecube on way to finish it off too.
Picked this lot up at a car boot sale today.

@drbrain
Don't buy this cooler it's a piece of cr@p. It's noisy and fails after 6 months.
Get a cooler without fan
Buy Fractal Design fan.
Go to overclockers.co.uk i think they have some at 40mm.
