Maybe not MAD exciting but it's a small step for me in building a better Amiga setup...
I feel safer with this thing and initial testing looks promising!! Fan has a slight whirr but I can live with that until I can be arsed to source another 60mm or whatever.
Old A600 brick that serviced the comp earlier to the right (pretty weak sauce).

I spent my rent money on this, I hope I can sell something or get a loan to to pay rent this month, but it was worth it since it was a really good deal! The photo doesn't really do it justice with the perspective of my unimpressed cat, but this thing really is big, look how small the A1200 is below it. It's a 80cm Vivid LCD display, with my A1200's Workbench running in 1280x720 thanks to the IndivisionAGA and the HD720 screen driver.

you`ll have to start raiding the bins at the back of cake/pie shops or supermarkets. lived on that stuff for years ;)
oh and  Ribbits, think now that fitzsteves JVC is no more I have another screen to drool over
Wow, I didn't know there was gear that let you run high-color HD output like that on the old Amigas, looks really sweet I must say! Must be great if you fiddle around with desktop work alot.
Does it work w. regular PAL/NTSC games too or just Workbench, and does it look proper? (no artefacts or weird de-interlace side effects)
It's not a high colour Workbench, it's just using 16 colours, and games work perfectly in both PAL and NTSC, although because they're scandoubled to a different refresh rate, the scrolling can be a little jerky in some games, although it's not that bad.
Very nice monitor, Cammy! I also really like your cat. It looks just like my old cat. :)

I'm still amazed about the product Cammy produced I'm still in awe..
and do give the cat alittle attention it looks bored :-P
Today i recived my "new to me" Microsoft forcefeedback 2 joystik.
I love it. It was all limp and i was a little disapointed but 1st thing i jumped in the plane it went all rigid. And its awesome some times when im flying and im about to stall it will vibrate before the stall buzzer warning comes on. and if i loose the attack angle on one of the wings due to my banking that side will loose resistance, i dont know how i ever managed to fly at all without feedback before lol..
I was going to say more but i figured id get laughed at for saying things like.
"Limp joystick goes firm and sometimes when im in diving in from above it gives my wrist some strain"
so i chose against doing so directly, but thought i would post a sentance to show you why i did not write a longer review.
