Ok, here is a quick update on my 128.
I had ordered a couple of packages of "RAM heatsinks" off of ebay from China. They were only a few bucks with shipping and they had the "Tape" on the back, so I could mount them. They came in today and turned out to be a lot smaller than I had anticipated.
The "long" ones are 2.1 cm (.08 inches) and the square ones are exactly half an inch (1.4 CM) I thought they would be a bit big for the chips, but these may be too small for a proper job. I will keep you all informed, but for the price, I can probably find something to use them on. the "long ones" fit the ram chips perfectly though LOL (not that they heat up), but I might have to use a few on the CPUS and such

The last picture is what I hope to accomplish with the sinks, so I can turf the RF shield and have easy access to my motherboard.

Sony won their share by delivering a solid platform (playstation) when Sega was launching a new console/addon in a pace that would put even the biggest fan in dismay, and Nintendo were crusing along on their fame (and of course not without reason).

xbox won their share by trowing a shitload of cash into buying companies or just buying their exclusivity. It is the game beeing played, but it's hardly a good way to fight.

However, the games I enjoy is on the cd32 or the snes. ;)

I hate to say it, but Microsoft is a CORPORATION, and this is exactly what corporations do! I am proud to back up and support Microsoft. They are up front and honest, not like Apple, who on the surface is shiny happy hippies, but are more evil than you could ever even begin to accuse Microsoft of EVER EVER being.- to the point of having an internal Gestapo and brain washing not only their employees, but customers. Now Apple wants to persecute the owners of their products who are smokers (another-words, it wants smokers to not buy an apple and just go to ****). It amazes me just how much Steve and the Apple boys are following the teachings of xxxx. I wouldn't own an apple product if I was paid to (no matter how "good" people believe that thier phones are. - I might take a nice LISA for the computer collection though LOL. Man, I could write a hundred page essay on the EVILS of Apple.

recently I have set up my PC as a media server to my PS3, I have since then remote-playe'd my PSP... and I am now watching movies on my PSP from the network via Wireless....

Infact I can now access my Media Store anywhere where there is internet and watch movies / audio / media I have stored.. I can even turn on/off my PS3 remotely with my PSP from anywhere in the world...

yes.... awesomeness just got BUMP'd!!!

also got some deoderant... and chocolate.... from the family....

okay I get the message with the deoderant.... but I am diabetic... what gives with the chocolate? lol

My new Ooma Hub will be arriving today. This is a great device that gives people in the USA a VOIP home telephone service that includes all the features, such as Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voice Mail, etc, for a one time fee. You buy the box once then never have to pay another bill! The only limits on the service are 5000 outgoing minutes per month, unlimited incoming minutes with free calling throughout the USA. You can pay a $10 per month fee to get additional features, but the basic service is free forever (or until the company goes out of business).

There's a newer version of their device that I could have bought, but there's a $12 per year regulatory fee on the new devices but no fees on the older model. I purchased this to have an additional telephone line available and I'm hoping that it does good enough to be used as a modem line for calling bulletin board systems. If it does well, I may even start my own BBS again.
