Heheh, scored a couple of MDD Power Mac G4s (dual 1.25GHz) at the recycle center, a.k.a. the fastest OS9 machines ;D Haven't gotten a chance to test them yet, but they look to be in good shape. Now I just need to load 'er up with RAM, and I can send my current OS9 machine off to a good home...
(And, added bonus, this should be a perfect machine to give MorphOS a spin on...)
Collected a C64c from the sorting office, this morning. Works beautifully and I immediately started writing a Snake clone :)

Both dead :(
C64 is ASSY250425 Powers on to a black screen.
A500 is Rev5, very clean, powers on to green screen and strobing power LED, 10 flash then 1 long flash, then repeat.
Has a C= key instead of left Amiga.
A friend of mine bought Skyrim for the PS3 and hated it after only playing it for a couple of hours... He sold it to me for <snip> just a snippet of the usual price <snip> :)
I think it's a great game, but some of the bugs can be annoying! The graphics are not as sharp or detailed as the X360 or PC versions and the framerate can sometimes chug a bit, but i'm still completely hooked! I kinda wish i had got it for the PC but i couldn't resist the <snip> just a snippet of the usual price <snip> for the PS3 version :D
I've liked the Elder Scrolls series for years now, but i still prefer Fallout :)
[edit]
Sorry to edit your post, but the price could be seen as price driving - also it was ridiculously cheap, and we cannot have that either! ;) .Z
@Wolfy
I am sure I can help you sort out that A500.
the green is a memory assertion failure, its quite likey that a dead A501 expansion's battery has spillied its guts...
Start a thread up in the help section - you should start by open up the A500, remove the RF shielding and take lots of (good quality) pics from the top and bottom of the motherboard.
from there we can help more =)
Now the C64 sounds like a AC power issue, I will have a read more - but again if you open up a help thread I am sure some one will certainly know a lot more than I on how to get it back from the dead.
Got my C128D-CR!
Wasn't expecting the German keyboard layout, but that's only an aesthetic thing.
The PSU stanchion has snapped though, due likely to a bit of rough handling by the postal service :(
The loose stanchion (and now loose PSU) has damaged one capacitor (smashed it!) but the 128 still works perfectly!
Nice C= wolfy :) not seen to often or should I say they are less common than the A key
Finally got round to buying a new nozzle for my hot air station, its an Aoyue 1325 - DSA Dual Single Adjustable - 5 > 10mm which should be great for removing the surface mount caps from 1200's and 600's (I hope).
This is the nozzle which is a buy it now item, if its not suitable for this thread then by all means feel free to remove it.
