Picked up this little lot up today for not very many pennies as I was looking for an ATX power supply...

And in amoungst everything I found this nice TEAC slimline DVDRW which came out the Dell complete with ribbon and adapter, which I tested out with IDEfix97 and turns out to work perfectly, so a possible A1200 case mod coming up :)

Also included was the slimline floppy drive with adapter ribbon which gave me an idea for a further case mod with the drive added to a catweasel adapter on the clockport...

I remember watching games master on channel 4 with domonic diamond years ago, and whenever they pulled out the neo-geo for some gaming i was blown away with how much like the arcade games it looked.
i always wanted one never did get one though..
Colour me jealous.
Thanks guys, just bought the PSU so will be able to play in a few days lol
its a beauty mr fitzsteve, would love to see it running whenever you come up here. Great catch and buy! Yes I am very jealous.
Would love to see the boot rom/screen firing up and touch the controllers, I heard these consoles things weigh a ton as well.
So many questions!
Watch out though, I'll whip out my Hyper Neo Geo 64 and you won't stop the NG collecting now!
Would love to see that mate, I'll see if I can make it to Curry night in a few weeks, I'm due a Saturday off at some point
Yeah this beast is pretty heavy, Can't wait to fire her up. I should've bought the PSU in advance but wanted to be 100% sure it was the same voltages (Neo has 10v and 5v on PSU) as didn't want to splash out £30 on a useless PSU lol :coffee:
I've already aquired a few games so I'll be ready to rock n roll when it gets here...
