Nice condition Neo Geo there
As it happens, one of these beasties is likely the next thing on my shopping list. Do you need a stepdown converter for it or just a uk psu?

Nice looking Neo Geo you have Steve. I have just bought an AES and also ordered Art of Fighting 2. Cant Wait:).
"Broken" JAP Wii off eBay for £10. Came with PSU + Video cables + Sensor Bar.

Turned out not to be broken after all but Semi-bricked due to an update from a UK disc.
Re-flashed to UK (couldn't be doing with JAP txt on all the menu's and no RGB) and it's all lovely. Even the dvd drive which was reported as not working turned out to be cMIOS (a hack to play backup gamecube discs has a side effect that retail Wii discs don't boot via the disc channel).
Now to get some Wiimotes for it :)
My Neo Geo AES arrived today along with Art of Fighting 2. Just thought I would post a couple of pics:).
Might do a little review if anyone is interested.
Sorrry for the quality of the pics:(
nice machine there mate a review would be great with many piccys
I've been buying up parts left right & center for my retro-pc... which is probably going to be 2 in the long run ;)
Anyway, I have amassed (or hoarded) a nice selection of sound cards, so thought I'd share:
First, an AWE32 Value. Nice card, nowt special to say.

Next, an AWE64 Gold... with an extra bit! Looks like the crystal has taken a bash, but it should be ok, or replacable. The extra brick bolted on supposedly gives the AWE its full 28mb of wavetable ram. This is hopefully my card of choice.

A Gus Max is next. I thought, back in the day, the GUS was awesome. In the Pentium days, when PC demos were still worth watching, you'd be stupid to do so without a GUS.
Attachment 22654
Soundblaster 2.0. Pimped out with the CMS chips. Boxed too!
Attachment 22655
Soundblaster 16. This is closest to my hardware specs from yonder years. I had one with the ASP chip soldered on, and none of this poxy IDE hardware

For retroPC #2 - probably a '98 or basic XP machine, I have this little beauty. Boxed & new

Now, graphics cards. I am in a few minds about which way to go. AGP is the obvious choice, but I kind of think PCI may give better compatibility to the old dos stuff. So, here are what I have picked up so far:
s3Virge. Probably going to be in RetroPC #2, as I doubt DOS stuff will support it's advanced features. It depends on how good it's VESA compatibility is.
Attachment 22658
s3 Trio64. I used to have one of these... it was pretty compatible with a lot of demos.

And finally. I figured I will try SATA on my humble dos machine, as a way to break the limitations of old bioses. Picked this little beast up for a few quid. Supports raid should I be desperate enough!
