welcome to the s2 club tokyo
I received my Peel T288 in the post today.
It's a device that your ipod touch 4g slips into and gives the ipod phone features aswell as Radio, which is something i missed.
Requires a Jailbroken Ipod and is compatible with most known networks.
Installation was really easy and works well so far.

Thanks John.
Peel huh? That's a damn clever device I must say! I can only guess it's not the same Peel company that builty tiny cars in the Isle of Man. :)
It really is a cool device... Just a shame it never took off! I'll be giving Amiga emulation a whirl on it later (UAE4ALL) and have been messing around with SCUMMVM along with other emulators (MD, Snes, GBA etc... :)). So far so good
The specs really were ahead of their time for a system released in 2005:
Samsung ARM9 processor running at 400Mhz
nVidia GoForce 3D 4500 128-bit 3D Graphics accelerator
64Mb RAM
In terms of Mhz they where much higher then the PSP's stock 222Mhz (I think). Even overclocked fully (stable wise) 333Mhz, that still wasnt quite enough for full speed emulation. Although as we all know, freq. means nothing, being an ARM it is RISC I asume? If so it would probably be faster even at the same Mhz level!
PSP is MIPS, not ARM. Both are RISC designs.
got this at the thrift store today for practically nothing.
Its probably one of the first VHS boxed sets of Star Wars, it so old "A New Hope" is nowhere on the box.
The original theatrical versions, no CGI needed. Now we can see who shot first...:p
Just got my 1541 Ultimate II in the mail today. Cannot wait to get home and try it :D
