a friend had brought it for me from Italy, he works there. it is a good bag, not fragile fits just fine :)

It's not Amiga related, but it's retro, so hopefully this qualifies. I finally finished building it over the weekend, and spent an hour here and there installing stuff, just spent an hour "testing" it with a game of Black Tiger, and everything's working nicely!

A stroke of luck on The Other Bay - must have been because of the bank hoildays, but I was the sole bidder on this, so got it ridiculously cheap:

Needed a bit of TLC - the wire that runs between the fire button and the main board is very brittle on these, so worth replacing with something more flexible. I also had to get all the little springs and contacts in the right place and the top cover snapped down - but it's now working like a champ.
I think when Konix designed this they were trying to take a leaf out of IBM's book with the Model M keyboard. This joystick is a contender for the World's Noisiest Joystick award!
