More goodies, Donkey Kong Country 1,2 & 3 for the Snes, I think they might have even cost me less when I bought them second hand the first time!
Can't wait to play through them again on the real hardware though

Yep I took a back plate off an old gfx card and attached it to that :)
I am interested to try the custom vga cable made by jvdbossc to see if it fixes the banding issue.

i really recomend some extra springs and some foam under the break peddal to make it more reststive when breaking,
It took me quite a bit of trial and error. to get it just right. but it really neeeds a LOT more resistance which is also progressive. "the father you press the pedal the harder it is to push it"
but once thats been sorted out turn off abs. and practice for a while.
before i did that to mine i could not match my game pad times "not a shocker really as i have been playing forza since the 1st one" but after i set the pedals up just right then not only was i matching my times i was actually beating them by a lot.
One issue with the fix is you really have to figure out where the pedals will go.
i had them on a laminate floor stickied down with LOTS of super sticky double sided tape. "thats a really tough one to clean off the floor lol"
but like i said if you really really want to go as fast as you can with a wheel then you need to fix the break pedal and turn off abs.
i have found later you can actually get reall progressive springs for these pedals. i ended up using some from a RC car, which werent stiff enough and so i added that white packing foam stuff 2 which did the job.

Nice catch Steve! I really enjoyed the Donkey Kong Country series. The had great graphics on the SNES and they were great platformers. I played the original with my nephew. He said the graphics weren't very good (spoiled by growing up with better graphics), but he kept on playing the game and had fun.

Also got 50 disk labels from someone else on otherbay, and a copy of Discover your Commodore 64, seeing as I've never had one before, I thought learning how to use it more then loading disk games might be an idea.

Just need to prep up a CF card to use with a SCSI-IDE adapter
Would been cheaper and more practical to get the switchless mod done to a PAL model (if you have one) and then it would play any game from any region. Of course if this is the only Snes you have, you can get the same mod done to allow pal games to work on it too. It's an unbelievably good mod.
