Alright, my BD gifts (from a couple weeks ago) have started rolling in...

this year I decided to get back into something i had meant to a few years back, but had been working nights and just never seemed to find the time to get around to it.

Star Wars Miniatures.

These have since gone out of print, but the Booster Cases/Packs actually seem slightly cheaper than they were back in 2007 when i was looking at maybe getting into it. (always been an Original Trilogy fan, Empire came out when i was 10)

Now they've stuck me on disability, i have the time (but not really the funds, hence the request for them as BD Gifts/Spending BD money on them)

The Starter Set and Imperial Entanglements Booster Case i ordered came today, also 2 Pocketmodels Hoth tins (i had been collecting the Pocketmodels for a while and built up a nice Hoth battle set, but the tins also include the Shield Generators)

I have also gotten/am getting a bunch of loose miniature figs, largely from the Original Trilogy Era (i think it'll work about to about 400 figures total)

I will also post pics later of the 'armies' i have collected if anyone else is interested/cares :P

haven't had a lot in the way of electronics/video games/computer stuff lately...been adding to the collection for the last ....nearly 3 years now i guess....kind of needed a break and something else to occupy me...

Today i've got back my Apollo 1240 - which, with a bit of Stans magic turn out to be Apollo 1260. So - yes, a card which i've bought in 1997 finally got some refreshment. I hope I'll make some serious testing ASAP ;).

Today i bought my fiancee a Neo Geo Pocket Colour, i am really impressed with it and im sure she will love it also. :)

Lately i have been wreaking havoc on my coffee cash.....im on a spending spree :)
I have bought a A2000 (#5) and a A500(#2) from a friend in cookie-town.
A2000 had slight battery trouble, removed battery and processorsocket while curing that.
Machine runs OK now with the Harms proffessinal 030 :)
A500 will be victim to retrobright testing some day soon (works 100% though).
At the Commodore meeting i bought a rusty, non working A2000 (#6) for parts.
Most recent i bought a SupraTurbo28 from TbTorro (thnxx again m8) for tinkering.

I wanted to try this out at Music-Go-Round yesterday, but the socket for the power adapter was just too small for the standard 5.5mm/2.5mm plug on any of the 9v wall-warts they had in the store :picard So I had to come back today with a USB power plug. It works quite nicely, so I traded in my M-Audio Radium 49 for it and cut the price by 40% :D As compared to the Radium, it's less bulky but has the same number of keys and knobs/sliders, plus a lot more configurability, plus a preset memory for the configurations, plus a much, much less plasticky feel to the keys (about the nicest I've used short of a proper weighted keyboard.) (Plus some drum pads I'll never use, but what the hey.)

It's been a good week :D

If I am not mistaken it should also do native 15Khz if you got a VGA adapter to the RGB port of the Amiga.

Just a few CD32 games, very good condition, unfortunately Syndicate misses the box.

Ohhhhhhh really? I will need to test this then. I don't have a vga adapter on hand, so I will need to procure one. That would be really fantastic if it does.
