Ok, this is not a computer and it's not quite retro either as it is a re-issue but nevertheless it's an item that originates from the 80s. :)

Straight from Japan, Transformers Encore #23 Fortress Maximus. This particular robot has held the record of the tallest Transformers toy nearly three decades and was only recently overthrown by Generations Metroplex, which is a totally new version of the original Metroplex. It looks smaller in the picture than it actually is as it is nearly 60 cm tall.
I've always wanted a Fortress Maximus ever since I was a kid but back then it was not available in Finland and you have had to pay a price of an PPC accelerator card for a boxed completed one. Fortress Maximus was re-issued under different name and series back in 2001 but I missed it then and ever since the Encore line was announced a few years back I've hoped that Fortress Maximus would be re-issued under the Encore label. When it was announced for pre-order last fall, I placed the order even though it still costs two arms and a leg.
This is the holy grail and also the swansong of my TF collection. I promised my dear wife that this would be it. In 27 years, I've acquired a collection of little over 200 Transformers figures. It's nowhere near the largest collections but nevertheless a bit of a logistic nightmare. :double Once I get my man cave, I plan to get some showcases for my collection so that I can actually enjoy my collection rather than it to be a monument of hoarding.
Nice looking labels there Scrappy !
Thanks guys, credit goest to my cousin for providing me with the labels. I just printed them off and attached them. I printed them on Glossy Self-Adhesive Paper i bought from ebay using a basic Epson printer set to photo quality. Cost about £3.50 for 10 sheets but looks really good.
Just received two great devices in the mail today!
My KryoFlux and 1541 Ultimate with Ethernet arrived! Unfortunately, I'll be out of town all week so I won't get a chance to try either of them until this coming weekend.
