Do you have a mouse for it? I do not and it's very slow to move the cursor around with joystick or keyboard.
For reading directories and loading stuff, I use the F keys in BASIC mode.

Hahaha i wouldn't mind a yellow one but I have too many Gameboys :O

Well, all it really needs is a bit more retrobriting and it is missing its battery cover which I have been finding very hard to find.

It also needs new battery terminals. I can get those of a broken GBP.

picked up this computer (the computer itself only) from Quarkx.

it's a Tandy 2500 RSX (one of the more 'standard' PC compatibles as Tandys go it seems)

its an AMD 386sx25 w 387/33
9MB RAM
430MB IDE HD drive
1.44/1.2 FDDs
SB16
256kb VGA (upgraded to 512kb from some 44256s i had on a dead A501 board) built-in (Acumos AVGA2)

DOS6.22 / WFW311 and i threw GeoWorks Ensemble 2.0 onto it as well

yeah, tho it is a little pricey buying your game pieces one by one :P

but they are really quite nice

starting to get a good couple of fleets going, although i am still a little short on X-Wings (only 2) (they've been sold out since i started :mad: , had to pick up 2 starters just to get those 2 (+4 TIEs))

OK.
So i sat down and examined my wifes gatway piece of junk laptop and tried to figure out what it was about the stupid thing she liked so much..

after measuring the keypad / screen size / touch pad. looking at the button configuration..

I thought i figured it out so i bought her this laptop.

(its the lack of a numpad and the possition of the up down left and right arrows)
