Escom machines were made with leftover parts, so it could be anything, however I think most of them are rev. 2s.

Yamaha DX7-IIFD
Got this on the cheap as "broken," booting into Gibberish Mode, as I figured even if I couldn't get it working, I could resell the E! expansion card for a modest sum. Opened it up the other day when it arrived to find that the only thing keeping it from coming up normally was a loose patch wire from the E! card; soldered it back in place and it was right as rain :) Still needed the battery changed and a buildup of crud removed from one of the key contacts, but with that taken care of it plays like a dream. Only remaining issues are a dead button on the panel (need to get a replacement) and the aftertouch sensor needing calibration - but that's minor stuff. I like the sound of the Mk.1 DX7 a little better, but the DX7-II just has so many great performance features, from splits/layers to whole keyboard transpose...I think I'm gonna wind up hanging onto this :D
Yeah, having just spent a while playing around with the "performance" memories, this is gonna be perfect for actually toting around to places and playing with...this and my JX-10 :)
here's what is to be the final version (I think, lol) of the XT PC machine and monitor, that I made in C4D.

Feels like Christmas Day
I had a delivery today containing a hot-rodded ZX81 from BluesBrothers and TheCorfiot in absolutely mint condition. He's added the 32k RAM and hi-res mod internally and you would never know by looking at it that it wasn't a standard machine  Really professional work, thanks guys  On the box behind it is the ZXPand if I want to load games off SD card (that TC has configured for me) and works perfectly with TC's mods.
The CPC 664 from BluesBrothers has also been converted by TC to use AMSDos or Parados (to read larger formatted disks) with a switch placed on the printer port to select one or the other. I'm going to send him my 6128 next for the same mod. Again this was done in a non-destructive way and can be removed and cleaned up with IPA is the next owner (when I die) wants to convert it back to its factory spec
The Atari 800XE has had the 1MB upgrade fitted by TC and I've also bought the Side 2 (both from Lotharek) and the CF card prepared by TC again :D He also kindly made me an S-video cable to I won't have to look at the terrible composite picture anymore
Finally I also bought the DivIDE for my Spectrum+2 and SD card (prepared by TC again).
So everything is ready to go out of the box
I may never see sunlight again :D:D:D
Thanks again guys for everything you did  The words can't express how happy I am at the moment with my latest haul :D

I'm so please you are happy Beaker my man and I'm absolutely sure TC is too. It's great from our end to know how much it is all appreciated and I can think of no more worthy recipient than yourself. Enjoy buddy, though do try and get some sleep tonight, I know it will be tough:lol:
