Cheers. It was just a pair of cheap ikea desks but they fit perfectly with room for my file cabinet in between. :-)

finally finished the build on my "Under the TV PC" it really needs a better VGA, not for the power but for the quietness (faster cards dont work as hard when V-sync is on), i7 @ 4.4ghz liquid cooled, 8gb ddr3 , 128gb ssd + 2tb HDD, Nvidia 570 gtx, on a Asus P8Z77-I DELUXE Socket 1155 inside a coolmaster elite 130 case, run my steam account and Xbox 360 wireless controller :D

my E7600 arrived today. installed it in the dc7700 Waited for the micro code error, updated the microcode and loe and behold it works.
have to use crystalCpu to force the multiple to 11.5 so it runs at full speed but set that up to do that when it boots.
went up from a windows score of 5.3 to 6.6 also boosted ram score from 5.3 to 6.6
so now this HP DC7700 is pretty much maxed out in terms of power it can have.

E7600
its gone from totaly unplayable thief "2014" with E6400 + 8400GS
To very acceptable thief game play at medium setting "1024 x 768"
As an added bonus when im recording vdj + webcam using hypercam 3, i dont get the cpu to 80% now when it did max it out.
All in all for what i spent on the pc + the upgrades i am very happy with the outcome.
I may later use it as a base for a mame system as it is definatly powerfull enough to do everything i would want it to do.
I can even run dolphin emulator pretty well now "some games still stutter thoug"
Bought the 120 model a while back, and did not really pay attention to the dimensions of it. Expected it to be about two thirds of the actual size, which would have meant i could tuck it away under the TV nicely :picardQuote:

It looks identical to my 21" Toshiba (except mine only has one hdmi and built in DVD) which is identical to the Alba 21" my mum has in her bedroom. It seems that a few different brands make that TV lol
