I love the crane games but am not usually very good at getting the prizes. However I remember when my wife was pregnant with out first child we were in Skegness. On the last day of our holiday I put the last £1 coin I had into a machine to try and win her a souvenir. I had 5 tries and and won all five teddies that were in the machine. I remember the guy staring at me scratching his head trying to work out how I'd cleared his machine out :lol:

We'll it was August 2008 and would have been on a Sunday evening (we hired a caravan Monday-Sunday) around 5/6pm as we were taking our last walk down the beach before packing up leave on the Monday morning.
I guess it depends how new the crane machine was, haha. :lol: I stand by my guess - I know of at least one place in Wales that still has two of those Compton units, and its not unfeasible that a few more are still in use elsewhere.Quote:
