OK, you guys are really gonna start getting annoyed with me (if you aren't already )
Had to go way down south today to buy some shoes which were more appropriate to our winter weather here (it's started snowing this week and apparently may get much worse this year), and of course very near where I had to go there are 2 other thrift stores (with a dollar store very conveniently next to each...)
few more odds and ends, books and CDs (I've decided to increase my CD and LP collections, when I can find them in decent shape and for cheap as I have the last couple of trips) and also picked up an electric guitar for cheap...I have been helping a guy in my building with a computer he got given by some seniors organization (Intel Core Duo 3Ghz 4 GB RAM - Vista Business Edition (licensed), actually pretty good for a freebie) and he wants to teach me how to play in return, so I have been keeping my eyes open for a cheap one just to learn on (and it wont matter if I ultimately have zero affinity for it...)

Squier by Fender "Stratocaster" Bullet Series (for whatever that's all worth - "made in China") Electric Guitar (needs cleaning up and re-stringing, and I'll need to find an amp of some description)
have I successfully managed to hijack this entire thread? :ninja:
It's all somewhat therapeutic for me since normally I would go weeks without leaving the house (especially when I was younger and my anxiety issues were...not greater...but had more of an impact on me...)
