Today I received a slight top-up for my stock of capacitors. This time I've gone for the "FR" range of Panasonic caps, these are the through-hole barrels in black.

Not pretty and gold like the FM series, but are a new series that's meant to last even longer! :)

These are going into my A600 tonight so that it's fully restored and maintained, ready for ACA630-30 action :D

Oh - these (and the small surface-mounters) are also in preparation for restoring Tajmaster's A4000 next year! :thumbsup:

You have my envy there, I really don't think I can stretch to an ACA630 now this year, so maybe in the new year if they have any and if I can find some spare $$$

those little buggers! put 2 of these on a SoundBlaster 1.5 and enjoy GameBlaster compatibillity :D

Got this in the post this morning its a COX 630B genlock board for the BBC Master (also seen one fitted to a Model B). It replaces the inbuilt 16mhz clock with one synced to an external video source. End result is it does video overlays as anything black is transparent.

Also included is another set of wires with a 10 pin video camera type socket on the end. Almost certainly something the BBC itself uses, hence non standard and of little use to me.

I haven't fitted it yet, I'm moving house at the moment, so I'll install it once I get the BBC collection here.

A Blizzard 2060!
I'm getting it this saturday, I was almost about to order an ACA 1230, but then I read something on our Dutch Amiga board, did a few pm's and got myself the best 060 card for the A2000 :D

Ok, some do say the Tekmagic is better, but I'm already happy to be recieving this and putting it the A2500 that I got from the guy above this post ;)

It's kind of neat and weird to see the big "CBS" logo.
Here in North America, "CBS" is a TV station from the States and the boxes all said "Coleco" as that was the actual name of the company.
Just a aside: if you were a child of the 60's and '70, it was very hard not to have Coleco toys, they made everything from kids pools, to lawn darts. The Colecovision was their "swansong", after the video game crash, they put all of their money into the "Adam" Computer and when that bombed (very bad design- the power supply was in the printer, if the printer was dead, so was the computer) they put everything into Cabbage patch kids. The Cabbage Patch Kids really did kill the company.

The Cabbage Patch Kids were awesome... Uh. My bad, I was thinking of The Garbage Pail Kids. :twisted:
