I'd vote for a Desire, for a lot of reasons. The G1 has been discontinued since july 2010, while the Desire only came on the market around that time. The G1 only runs Android up to version 1.6, while the Desire is still being supported, currently running ver 2.2.

More reasons? The Desire has a bigger screen with far higher resolution, it's a LOT faster and so on and so forth.

I'd highly suggest to completely forget about the G1. If your budget is tight, better look at a HTC Wildfire, it's the smaller brother of the Desire, and introduced about the same time. It also runs Android 2.2...

I really don't know much about it, its the AD version and I'm told that it's working. Seems very rare and ideal for one of our exhibitions maybe?

Its in the original box with foam inserts, sadly no manual but the PSU (look at that heatsink!) and tape leads are here :)

this was waiting for me today from other bay. they are quite fast little things and easy to configure just gotta see whos having it (Tower or Desktop).

These just came in. I hope i can manage to make the A4000 CIA chips socketable....

I used to have one of those next to my A3000. They're both 030@25MHz and I used to do some little comparisons to see which OS was faster with certain tasks... Good times :)
