Last time I tried something like that, the seller told me he didn't want to sell me the Atari 2600 for the final auction price and took the best part of a month for ebay to refund me the money as he refused to refund me :thumbsdown:
Yeah I didn't know what to expect, the item was also 'collection only' but he said in a message he's be prepared to post it and was happy to send it by Hermes so it only cost me 4 quid to get it shipped :)Quote:

I've been after one of those blue weather dice for ages (they seem to be out-of-production but still in stock in a few places), and finally found one packaged with the other two shown above. I already have a compass die and a hit-location die, but these two are different to my existing ones (the orange compass one is nicer than my black one, and the new hit-location die is considerably smaller and is inverted, colour-wise, from my other one).
Really want to order one of these (and some others...), at some point, too, but I'd better wait for my new dice bag first. :p
Got this white 1003 PSP phat from the car boot sale today. The seller had 3 of them all untested assumed broken. This was the best looking one so I picked it up for the price of a McDonald's meal.
No battery or battery cover and no charger. I already have a psp and a spare battery :)
Took it home and tested it. Fully working loading UMDs, installed CFW and works great. I always wanted a white psp.

Yep and all PSP models use the same CPU anyway, so i'm guessing the first model is still just as capable as any other newer PSP. My other PSP which i've had since 2006 or whenever they came out is a 1004 model running 5.50 CFW. This one now has 6.60 CFW.Quote:

Ensoniq SQ-80
A digital/analog hybrid synthesizer. Like the Korg DW-8000 I used to have, it plays short sampled digital waveforms which are then shaped with analog filters and amplifiers. The SQ-80 has much more in the way of features, though - many more base waveforms, three oscillators per voice instead of two, oscillator sync and AM options, and much more in-depth modulation. About the only thing it doesn't have is the DW-8000's delay/chorus effect. It's a great-sounding keyboard and I've been keeping an eye out for a good deal on one for quite some time now - finally nabbed one!

After few weeks I took some free time and start to unpack long time awaiting treasure... Box with Mega STE (+keyboard and boeder mouse), SM146 monitor, emagic Logic pack (emagic log3, c-lab unitor 2, c-lab steady eye, c-lab export), external SCSI hard drive + PSU and lot of jewelery (SCSI IBM HDD, NEC SCSI CD-ROM, SCSI cables, serial cables and so...)
It is nice to enjoy some memories as I had the same computer "a few years (almost 20?)" ago (without midi stuff as me and music are two absolute opposities :D
There is about ten-twelve more boxes waiting to unpack (few 8bits, Amigas, old consoles... it will be a nice time.. soon... I hope.. :)
I got an EPROM eraser and 2x 3 meter midi cables today. :)
Can't wait to finish work and go home :)

DooM!!! Here is my 2 second review for the SNES version. Good graphics for 16 bit, excellent sound and music and CRAP frame rate.
I feel quite guilty following the awesome Doom on the SNES post. That's a bewt!

So took the cleaner key caps from here and swapped them over giving the insides a clean while I was at it and viola...

A UK layout 4000 keyboard :).
Still need to whiten the casing and clean the QWERTZ keys and mount them on the 1200 backplate but quite happy with how this went.
My EverDrive GB arrived! Stone Age Gamer also includes a nice, professionally made label so I don't need to make one myself. :thumbsup:

Got this today, not sure what model, since the badge does not say 2000 etc, and no sticker on the back. Going to have to take it apart and clean it up, maybe a model number is on the PCB.... I should add its a 5 pin din, so its either a 2k or 3 k model
Did a bit of a round trip pick up of a few items yesterday.
1. A functional but in need of a clean up up C64C with datasette
2. A working boxed Plus/4 - but see my thread in AmiOracle - the built in software doesn't appear to be present - but the joystick, datasette and games appear virtually unused.
3. A 17" TV with built in DVD player and Ipod Dock - and it even plays movies off the ipod.
