Well, it turned out that Amazon UK provided false tracking info, and the game was never out for delivery at all!
But, it did arrive today, and it is fab.

Two Fat Quarters of custom-printed fabrics! :D
http://i.imgur.com/vAA7zpP.jpg
One features sprites of Lomax, from the game of the same name, and the other features Scrappy-Doo.
Both were printed at Spoonflower, on their Performance Knit fabric, which is the one with the best colour reproduction, and the only fabric they offer that doesn't fade when washed. I had them made up as linings for a pair of character-themed dice bags that I'm planning to make.
+1 :-)
This month's gaming haul.
Space Hulk arrived Friday and i spent the weekend detaching the figures...
(the dollar store was kind enough to have plastic storage boxes the absolute right size for these:p)
and then today:
X-Wing Rebel Aces expansion (1 A-Wing & 1 B-Wing with alternate paint schemes)
Star Trek Attack Wing USS Enterprise
Star Trek Attack Wing IRW Gath'Thong (Bird of Prey)
Star Trek Attack Wing Enterprise NX-01
I'm very jealous of your star trek items! :)
I am actually a little disappointed with the Attack Wing figures...they appear to be the exact same models from the Star Trek HeroClix Tactics game, stuck on a different base, and with a couple of cards....for about 2x the money...
the Star Wars models from Fantasy Flight are far better detailed and painted (WizKids licensed the ruleset from them for Attack Wing)
FF is coming out with more X-Wing figures (wave 6) and 2 new Star Wars minis games (Armada in particular) so i'll probably save my money for those, i just wanted to see what the AW figs were like (and shipping-wise is was actually pointless to just order Rebel Aces by itself :/ )

I bought the vita to do some current gen gaming, but I never felt comfortable playing driving games on it. So I bought a little ice princess to remedy the situation.

And the needed hd upgrade is done. ;)
I've had this for a couple of months but I'd thought I'd post it up since TC installed it. Even tho, after reading this you'll see the board TC installed has been replaced (no fault of TC, was my fault) TCs soldering in such tight spaces is excellent, incredibly tidy and highly professional. The caps he replaced are still in my unit, again, excellent job. It's a Gamegear with TV (RGB scart) out and a Megadrive pad port with start button support. The board is from the supurb Otaku's Store (http://www.otakus-store.net/en/home/...connector.html), new set of caps from ebay and posted to TC for the important bit.
Initially I tried it on my Trinitron and the colors were very dark and off, and tbh I was gutted. TC said he thought the colors were fine, but also Castle of Illusion showed corrupt output on the TV. Chatted to TC and he thought it was the board not supporting the game, which turns out to be correct (video mode or or something). Anyway, I enquired with the chap from Otakus store (who developed and built the TV out board) and he suggested I send the whole unit to him (they're in France) to look at. He tested it and said the colors were fine but did experience corruption in Castle of Illusion and he wasn't sure why. So he installed a replacement board and had the same results. He tried the game on the different mobo version of the GG (single/twin ASIC) and same problem. He now concludes its a video mode/resolution issue with some GG games that he didn't spot before, but he assures me there's only a small number of games that use that mode.
So he sent it back to me, with the conclusion the colors are fine, he tested my custom RGB cable (which is a MD2 cable) and that was fine (I worried it was causing the color issues). He did all this for free, except for postage, which I think is highly commendable. Once I got it back I tested it again on my Trinitron and the same color problem, sigh. So I got my little 15" LCD out and tested on that and voila, perfection!!! So I dragged my 'backup' 21" Trinitron out and also voila, perfect again! Turns out my original Trinny is going bad.
So long story short, thanks to TC for the absolutely professional installation. Thanks to Otaku's store for the support and a brilliant product. Honestly guys it's cheap, and well worth it. It looks fantastic now on my other CRT. I have no problems with it at all. Long post but just sharing issues really.
Pics show one from my old CRT, the rest are from my new CRT and possibly one from my LCD.
Shame those GGTV adapters don't have a setting via jumper to enable full screen. That would be awesome for converting the old and crappy GG LCD to a newer one.
Picked up some goodies at Play Expo today :D

Heather
managed to buy a small server.
2x quad core 771 cpu's
only 2gb of ram but il throw in some more.
500gb hard disk
and thats all the importaint parts i care about..
its a xw6600
this will serve a dedicated AC server so we can have the cars we want and the tracks we want.
i will probably also dump all the player stats to php so we have a basic table of how much juv and jerry beat me by every race.
it will also be replacing my main downstairs system "not my main system, and not my media one lol" so it will still work as a media file servere for the network..
The plan is to have it as a 8player server. so theres room for more of us to join in.
let me know if you plan to use it once its up and i will give you a password for it.
havent recived it yet but its one of these jobby doos.

I got this Amiga card from a friend of mine. I think it's from a A1000 or something? Does anybody know? I didn't find anything in the net. Last check on top of the card dates 08-09-1987!

My Mazda 6 finaly gave up at 175k miles. I though I will cheer up myself with this one. 2.7TDI A6.
Attachment 77453
I agree, I don't believe that it fits under the A500 keyboard. It has some broken pins below that I have to replace.

We may want to move this to a different thread.
Your card looks like a version of this:
http://www.bigbookofamigahardware.co...t.aspx?id=1073
Indeed it looks almost identical. Thanks!
Sure move the posts to a different thread. I believe it would be better because it's a dedicated Amiga item.
Here is my update of things I bought and got working:
1. ACA-500. At first I couldn't use it because I had an NTSC motherboard. It is now working perfectly.
2. New (to me) PAL A500 motherboard. Initially had 512k chip and 512k fast RAM and Kickstart 2.0, but thanks to the wonderful ACA-500, it has everything I will ever need.
3. A case for the ACA-500 from Amigastore.eu. It was missing the screws, so I need to get amigastore to send them to me.
4. DKB MegaChip. My A2000 is really happy with 2mb of chip ram. I have a Retina Z2 video card. While that displays fine on my VGA monitor, and has 4mb, it was still using chip ram for my video modes (I wonder why it has memory if chip ram is used....)
5. AmigaOne xe. I rescued this baby from being recycled. The seller said you have to hold the processor board down to boot. It turns out it was just missing some nuts. The fan was also held on by twisty ties. I have now put it in a new case, and installed a fresh install of 4.1, and it rocks.
I will add pictures of my AmigaOne when I get a chance. It is beautiful. I will also add a picture of my A500 with the side case once I get it together.
Take care!

Pallet deliveries, that's collecting in style
Nice haul buddy. Bas might have some spare time to look at my cd32's/sx1 now if he's finished with your stuff

Just a shame I found out about high blood pressure (230/130), thickened wall on my heart and murmur after messing around with a BP monitor a few weeks back so going through it all slowly for a few hours each day while getting plenty of exercise. Hopefully that'll be resolved soon.... lost a stone in weight in the first week so only another 4.5-5 stone to go...
Oh there's more
hope you get better soon bud :)

I got my hands on this thing today... anyone know if it's worth anything? (Just joking)
Complete Adlib Gold 1000, boxed with manuals, drivers and software. It always seemed improbable if not outright impossible to find this card.

Fun fact 1 : It was bought in person, not over the Internet.
Fun fact 2 : I traveled 616km to get it.
Fun fact 3 : I'm still not certain that I'm awake at the moment.
Amazing! In CA I pressume? :)
I got an IBM PC 350 yesterday.
