My wife got me this recently as my Cowthulhu mug (promo item from Odyssey Con years back) broke.

Hey! #7 on the all time list is not too shabby...!

In all honesty, I had to check first to make sure that my Aquarius didn't have you beat. :)
1581 arrived from Gaz along with the C64nic+ so she is finally online :D

and a lovely NOS 128D keyboard from my friend in France to replace my old yellow peril so the whole machine is now as creamy beige as the day it rolled out of the factory :-)

Finally got a chance to set up my Roland MT-32 and SC-55 so decided to try the Roland MT-32 out with the Atari ST. It's a real shame more games didn't support it despite having the MIDI ports built in. Anyone know how to get MIDI working on Bomb Jack as I hear it supports it. Can't wait to get my x68000 back from Bas to try the MIDI on that :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Internet's been down for most of the day so, I finally put one of my PS1's in the blue case BluesBrothers sent to me 6 months ago??? and diagnosed and fixed my original PS1 from 1996... knowing TC must be rubbing off on me. Happy Days!!!

I picked up one of the New Nintendo 3DS consoles. The system is great but I was unimpressed with what came with the system. You get the console, the box, a simple getting started pamphlet, and a pack of AR cards.
The eye tracking for the 3D works extremely well and it may allow me to play games in 3D without getting sick. :)

From Japan, I got this nice Nec PC Engine Core Grafx with PSU, controller, video cable and three games. Used my small LCD display to test it. Can't wait to get to do an RGB cable for it. :)

@protek - Sweet!
Thanks! :) The small LCD complements the console quite nicely. The living room telly wouldn't play ball with the console even though it is NTSC compliant, so I went and connected it to this one. It's meant for reverse cameras but it works also with retro gear, although it's somewhat picky about the source. With the PC Engine it worked flawlessly.
I saw Sunstorm (background) in Toys R Us while over in the UK but couldn't fit it in my bag (and we don't have any near by if at all in Ireland(?)) so I had to wait until someone came over to visit

Brand new Super Wide Gear

You mean this? I'm afraid that's too steep for me at the moment. I'll probably go with the simple Mmmonkey mod at first and look into the more sophisticated mods later. The Turbo Everdrive will be on my shopping list at some point.
Yes that's the one.

Lol Scraps, that's a monster!
You're right buddy it is, it does however make it easier to see the screen and also shields it from sunlight. I don't play the Game Gear for too long cause it hurts my eyes after a little while but while testing this device i sat and played through Alex Kidd in Miracle World to completion :)
well I'd posted this in Facebook (there's some crossover between the 2 places ;) )
Anyway, a guy at my makerspace was interested in my preparations for the upcoming Amiga meet, and just happened to mention that he had an A1200 "collecting dust" and would I like to have it?
YES PLEASE!!!
and here she is
The box is pretty tatty, but the comp itself is in great condition with only a little yellowing to the keyboard
Look at what I built today :)
Attachment 84269
Holy cr*p dude, I want one :) Any details on it?
It looks beautiful Bas. :)
Heather
Going to print out a copy of the picture and stick it up by my bed until my one arrives
what are you going to use for a keyboard? ive seen rolands youtube video..
Splitting the Atom? I was thinking of doing the same to a Commodore 65 to make a real statement and get everyone hating me
For the prototype i'm in the middle of reconfiguring a BBC Model B keyboard.
The system currently works but i cant fully test it without the keyboard, long term i am designing a PS2 keyboard adapter.
Once i have a fully working Prototype i will create a thread with full details and spec...including the onboard SID lol.
:)
Latest additions to my collection shipped from modded, fixed and refurbished and Bas

Amstrad CPC 6128+ with new keyboard membrane

Attachment 84491Attachment 84490
I guess that should keep me going for a few weeks
Saturn softmod? What's that then :)
Got me, I meant to say switchless mod
I thought as much but knowing Bas it wouldn't have surprised me if he'd found a softmod.
nice machines though bud. I think all you're missing a is a model 2 mega drive/cd
Nice stuff there beaker :)
Today I mostly got OCD... The Sony PVM didn't have the Sony logo on the front of the monitor which was driving me mad so I bought a replacement and some metalic stickers to finish off the blue PS1 case from BluesBrothers

Cheap ;)
Plays files off a Micro SD too
Nice, I bought a similar one without bluetooth but with line in off ebay last week to use with my TRS80 Model 3
Slow day today, only 2 deliveries
The Neo Geo MVS turned up and I must say Ed. D. did an amazing job, the workmanship blew me away, it's just a shame my crappy photo doesn't do it justice. I am going to nickname the MVS the "beast" He also cut an SD slot for my ZXPand from a cardboard template I gave him which is perfect :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I also got a couple more Supervisions to play with :thumbsup2:

Here's some better pics of it Ed sent to me

The MVS looks awesome, is it a modified PC case?
WOW that's extreme! @Scraps it was Custom built by a fellow Amibayer :)
Yeah I saw that bud, it's excellent work by Ed. I was just wondering if it was originally a pc case as it says antec on the front
Ahh, I didn't see that - perhaps it was then :)
It is a modified Antec ISK600 case with the joystick ports added, on/off and test switch and the other 2 holes are to control the 2 fan speeds
The door's been hinged to allow access to change the cartridge and the scart and audio has been routed via the rear. I've got a choice of either using the audio via the scart or via a headphone socket.
