Actually, the A3400 was the A4000 prototype, often found with a black front.
This CPU card was the original one like it was designed for the A3200/A3400. Yes, I know, the A3630 (just a nickname) has exactly the same PCB, but this still is a very different card.
This card has a full 68030, instead of the 68EC030 on the A3630. It has a jumper for MAPROM (which requires the MMU) and it has a GAL/PAL chip between the 68030 and 68882 CPU's.
What makes this card rare? Well, it acually comes from an A4000 prototype. It has a full 68030 and a full 68020 from factory. It has a MAPROM option and has an IC that normal A3630's do not have. It's also a lot older then any of the A3630's that hang around in 3000T's and 4000/030's.
All in all I figure it's a great find!
More info on the A3400 here: http://www.bboah.com/index.php?actio...859&artlang=en
Actually, it's exactly this CPU card which is mentioned at the specs, this one is indeed labeled 68020/030 BOARD Rev 1.0 (on the serial label)
@Tahoe
Great find!
Ok not Amiga related but it's a great piece of hardware

Whoho!:mrgreen:
Yesterday I was presented with a complete NTSC C=128 (complete as in working wedge & heavy as hell PSU)! The one shaped as the C64c.
Yellowed as if the poor guy have hepatitis, but hey! Pictures to follow.:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
Now, where I can find the DIN connectors? One for the video out, another to hack a serial connection.
OK, here is the picture of the bugger.
You can see barely see the PSU on the right side.
Yes, this furniture is my bar.
No, I don't sell booze.
I drink everything!:drinkin:
@m4rk1z
Very nice! You'll have to let me know how it is. I'm going to buy the Boxee Box next month. I have a hacked first gen Apple TV with Boxee installed but it's a bit slow.
@Rogerio
Congrats on the C128! I love mine! The C128 is my all-time favorite 8-Bit computer. :)
Heather
My goodness Rkauer you certainly were not kidding about it being excessively yellow! Still, a good going over with Retr0bright will have it back to it's former glory :), which reminds me.......
i picked this up at the car boot
this is a stock image, mine actually says "Commodore Amiga" on it :)
Received a free Brand new Xbox 360 250Gb Go Console with my new phone on friday. :D

@SkydivingGirl
The only thing i changed in the settings was the video option to 24hz
all 1080p movies works soft like butter ;) great stuff !!!
The Boxee Box design look's fantastic !!!
l8r!
You are saying that to one of the first Retr0bright developers?:mad:
Nah, no offence taken.:thumbsup:
But I prefer to restore the unit to its former glory instead installing a spoiler/22" alloy wheels/200dB sound system/2 sluts on the trunk/etc.
I think the analogy is good enough.
@m4rk1z
Excellent! The Boxee Box will be released in a couple weeks. I'll let you know how it does.
@Rogerio
You definitely need to post before and after pictures of that Retr0bright treatment!
Heather
@Rkauer
You could always add Carlos Fandango Super Wide Wheels! :D

Just need to source a kickstart.

But this is what dagger was referring to :thumbsup:
Dave G :cool:
???? :unsure: How can it be price driving it was a buy now. When something is sold on this site it has a price, is that not price driving then ?
:)Many thanksQuote:
If you feel I've done wrong put the link back :thumbsup:
The auction had both, it was listed today with a start price and a buy it now price so I used the buy it now straight away as I was(am) hoping I got a bargain. Thing is normally when something seems to good to be true it normally is :(
Most definately, if I buy something I would like it yesterday but on the same note if I sell something I send it as quick as possible.Quote:
Impatient as well then :-D

@ jimbo1979
what do you think of the vga box same as mine
Hey man
It was you who told me to get one wasn't it chap? So far using the PS2 it seems really good. Was a little dark and a little weird at first, but after playing with the settings it's quite sharp isn't it m8.
Not tried it with the C64C yet.
Happy with it so far so thanks for the heads up on it :)
@Johnim - nice avatar :cool:
@fitzsteve - cheers mate its about time i put 1 on
@jimbo1979 - im happy its working for you as its ok for the price im waiting for a second to come
It works! This was a BIN on the other bay -- included an accelerator. Good things come to those who wait. Anyone know how to remove sharpie?
Here's the A1000 I got I think it was well worth it..
Chris :coffee:
Wow, that looks nice and clean inside, and the wires and cable don't look brittle like they are about to turn to dust.
---------- Post added at 00:29 ---------- Previous post was at 00:26 ----------
Wow, thats.. artistic... must have been a well used Amiga:o
Yeah I was surprised also not a spec of dust on the inside and it booted right
up, enter key sticks a little and I have to get a 1000 mouse..:thumbsup:
Chris :coffee:
Usually moisture and repeated firm rubbing do the trick (lick your finger and wipe that sucker down,) but that tends to work less well for marks that have been on for a long time. I'd suggest rubbing alcohol, but I'm not at all sure what that'd do to the plastic...
There are a few vids on youtube about removing Sharpie ink.
Picked up a C128 D with a Commodore 1901 monitor locally, system was very dirty (pics 1,2 and3) and asn't been used for some large years so it was in an unknown working condition. Dismantled it and put tha plastics on the washing machine, cleaned the mobo and psu, checked for corrosion (luckilly none was found :p). Next day assembled the machine and fingers crossed powered it up :thumbsup: it's working nice, some pics of C128 and C64 mode (don't have any 5 1/4 floppy's to test the drive).
Just need to find the drive lock plastic handle and do some retrobright on the keyboard!
Monitor will have to be cleaned up before i dare power it up.
